Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed in the United States. This laser treatment can remedy the discomfort of razor bumps and ingrown hair that many men experience. The lasers concentrate beams of light directly into the hair follicles, destroying the hair. This is a great solution for people who are not happy with shaving, plucking, or waxing their body or facial hair.
Laser Vein Removal
AesthetiSpa uses the latest laser technology to treat unwanted veins. Laser vein removal is noninvasive, fast, safe, and effective. Using the YAG Laser, also used in Excel V treatments, allows us to treat a full range of vascular lesions including diffuse facial redness, fine facial veins, “cherry” red spots, and “spider” leg veins.
Skin Rejuvenation
DEKA DOT Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing
This procedure creates microscopic channels through the epidermis down into the second layer of skin, the dermis, to stimulate collagen production and reduce wrinkles, age spots, acne scarring, and skin laxity. Only a fraction of the skin is treated leaving surrounding areas of untreated skin to speed healing.
Excel V
Excel V is an innovative laser device that has been developed to safely and comfortably improve the appearance of the skin. Designed by Cutera, the device features cooling technology and precision laser light to affect positive changes in the skin without downtime or long-term side effects.
Fraxel Dual
Fraxel is the original fractional laser treatment that works below the skin’s surface from the top down addressing imperfections like fine lines, visible photo aging, wrinkles, scarring, and age spots. Fraxel light energy stimulates your skin’s natural collagen, rejuvenating skin cells below the surface to help smooth the creases and pockets that cause wrinkles and scars. Fraxel is proven laser technology that can help reverse the visible effects of aging, naturally helping you look as young as you feel.
Laser Genesis
AesthetiSpa’s non-ablative Laser Genesis Skin Rejuvenation is FDA approved for wrinkle reduction. Laser Genesis increases collagen and elastin, minimizes scarring, improves pore tone, lessens redness, and improves sun-damaged skin, creating a more vibrant, youthful appearance for men and women. Laser Genesis treats those conditions that are typically associated with premature signs of aging such as unsightly facial veins, redness and sun-damaged skin.
Genius™ RF
At AesthetiSpa, we are excited to offer the most evolved fractionated radiofrequency treatment on the market to tighten skin and improve tone, texture, wrinkles, acne scarring and more! Lutronic fully upgraded and improved its proprietary technology and introduced the new GENIUS™ RF microneedling platform in 2019.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Photorejuvenation® with IPL is a non-invasive treatment that treats skin damage with little to no downtime. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) can safely and effectively treat a wide range of facial concerns, such as broken capillaries, benign brown pigment, sun spots, and uneven skin tones. IPL is also effective for improving rosacea and treating facial redness. It is used to increase collagen and improve acne scars when performed in addition to the Laser Genesis treatment.
Thermage
Thermage® is a clinically proven, non-invasive cosmetic treatment that can address the look and feel of aging skin on your face, neck, eyes, and body. It is a targeted, effective treatment that can help improve the appearance of sagging, loose skin in a single treatment with minimal downtime. Unlike lasers, Thermage works on all skin types and colors.
Clear + Brilliant Touch
Clear + Brilliant Touch uses fractional laser technology to create structural and functional changes to the skin. Micro-channels are created in the skin which stimulate collagen remodeling and promote elastic tissue formation.

Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?
Laser devices have become more sophisticated over the years. This has increased the capacity of laser energy to achieve maximum results with less discomfort and downtime. Laser hair removal is more easily tolerated today than in the past. Most people do not need to apply topical numbing cream beforehand. The night before your treatment, you'll shave the area to be treated with the laser. The shorter strands of hair minimize the heat that passes through the hair follicles.
During laser hair removal, you may feel a warming sensation. Your skin might tingle, and the laser energy may "snap" against the skin. The degree to which you feel these effects may depend on various factors, including the body part we're treating, your natural pain threshold, and even the time of the month you receive treatment (if you're a woman).
Any discomfort that might occur during laser hair removal is usually mild and temporary.
How Does Laser Vein Removal Work?
Laser vein removal is a convenient treatment that targets distended veins with laser light. The light passes through the skin and quickly heats the affected vein to the point where it becomes sticky. The inner walls of the vein collapse, causing the vein to close off permanently. The blood redirects to nearby veins, and the body absorbs the debris left after the vein closes.
Does Fractional Laser Treatment Hurt?
Fractional laser treatment is another example of advanced laser technology. The handpiece scatters the light rays to affect tiny zones on the skin. This minimizes the discomfort that would otherwise occur. To ensure your comfort, your provider will apply a topical numbing cream to your skin for 30-60 minutes before beginning your laser procedure.
How is Radiofrequency Treatment Different than Laser Skin Rejuvenation?
We perform laser treatments as well as radiofrequency treatments to safely address a variety of cosmetic concerns. The two technologies are quite different when we break them down.
Laser treatments affect the skin via concentrated light energy. Depending on the wavelengths of light used, the laser treatment may be ablative or non-ablative. Ablative lasers primarily target the uppermost layers of the skin. This accelerates cellular turnover to reveal youthful, healthy skin more quickly. Non-ablative lasers target deeper tissues. The outer layer of the skin is not affected directly but can ultimately benefit in some ways from the increased production of collagen and elastin.
Radiofrequency treatments affect the skin via the emission of energy waves. These pass through the epidermis to target deeper tissues on the face and body. Depending on the radiofrequency technology in a device, the energy may target unwanted fat cells or the dermis, where collagen and elastin are made. The heating of these deeper layers can sculpt an area of the face or body while also tightening the skin.
