Frequently Asked Questions for Air Brush Tanning

How do I prepare before I tan?
Before you tan, shave and exfoliate. Remove any dead skin, paying close attention to the knees, feet, ankles, toes, elbows, hands and knuckles. Scrub damp, not wet, skin. AesthetiSpa offers a wonderful Pineapple Fruit Enzyme Exfoliant for great exfoliation prior to tanning. You may tan in the garment of your choice, e.g. shorts, bathing suit, etc. Do not wear any lotions with oil in them

What do I need to do after I tan?
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothes. For best results wait 8 hours, or overnight, to shower, exercise or wet your skin. This allows enough time for the solution to be absorbed and your tan to fully develop. Remember, until you shower, the bronzer can stain silk, leather and some synthetic fabrics.

After your post tan shower, keep your skin moisturized to help prolong your tan. Alpha-hydroxy acids or lotions with mineral oil will fade your tan faster. AesthetiSpa offers a pH Balanced Body
Wash, Vitamin E and Collagen Cream, and After Tan Extender Lotion to maximize the life of your airbrush tan.

How does it work?
Only about 20 minutes! 10 to 15 minutes for application and 10 to 15 minutes to dry!

How long will it last?
Our superior solution gives color for a week to 10 days depending on your skin type.
